Two years ago now, we were able to fundraise over $2000 within the matter of ONE week. This money went towards buying a new electronic scooter for one of our friends downtown who had his stolen (You can watch here). This time around, we are raising money for Pastor John who runs a ministry downtown on Wednesday nights. Every Wednesday looks something like this....50-100 people or sometimes more show up to wait in line to get their next meal or their next weeks meals. Pastor John spends his whole week gathering food from different stores who donate so there will be enough food for each hungry person on Wednesday. He doesn't get paid to do any of this, he does it out of his GOOD heart and his love for people. For a while now, he's been driving a silver mini van around...he obviously can't afford to get anything else. We've realized now that he needs a commercial van so he can fit everything in it more efficiently and also so he can carry furniture etc. more easily. Because he would be too humble to ask anyone...a few of us thought it would be an AMAZING surprise to fundraise money to buy him a beautiful commercial van. This would mean the world to him, and the world to many of us who have helped serve with Pastor John on Wednesday nights. If you knew the heart that this man has, how patient, kind, loving he would understand why he's so deserving of this wonderful gift. So if you've read all of this so far...thank you. It already means the world that you've taken the time to hear my heart and many others hearts. If you feel lead to, please scroll below and click the "donate" button. It will be a bigger fundraiser this time, as we need around $20,000...but I'm believing by YOUR generous hearts and with God that this is possible! I will keep this page updated with the amount we've raised so far and like last time, there will be a video of the BIG reveal with Pastor John's happy tears! Thank you so much for helping to make a difference in this mans life! Please watch the video below to learn more about Pastor John's ministries. God bless you all.
